Cruises & Rendezvous:
Among the many unique privileges of membership in the Pelican Isle Yacht Club are the group cruises and rendezvous. Each season, the Club offers a multitude of planned boating excursions for our members. The cruises feature a fleet comprised of member-owned boats traveling together to spectacular destinations throughout Florida and the Bahamas. Members make lasting memories and lifelong friendships while enjoying the planned activities and scenic view offered by each unique destination. Featured destinations include: Key West, Miami’s South Beach, The Bahamas, Useppa & Captiva Islands.

Backwater Explorations:
For shorter trips closer to home, Pelican Isle Yacht Club offers members free use of our fleet of canoes and kayaks. Members may check out their choice of small craft for exploring the mangrove-filled wonders of the Cocohattchee River. While on your excursion, you may encounter natural wonders such as Manatee, Dolphin and Bald Eagles.

Beach Shuttle Service:

• Members of Pelican Isle Yacht Club may enjoy complimentary beach shuttle service to and from the Club, every hour, on the hour. The 16-passenger pontoon boat carries members from the Club through the serene waters of the Cocohatchee River to the white sandy beaches of Delnor Wiggins Pass State Park or Lely Barefoot Beach, as you wish.
• Hourly shuttle service runs daily at the top of the hour from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. November – April, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. May – October.
• Beach chairs and umbrellas are available on board for the convenience of our members, on a first come, first served basis.
• Upon your request, our culinary staff will prepare you a boxed or picnic basket lunch to take with you.
• Enjoy a cocktail with your friends aboard our popular Island Cruises, which run Wednesday – Saturday 4:45 – 5:45 p.m., featuring light hors d’oeuvres, cash bar and magnificent scenery. (by reservation)
• Beach shuttle services exclusively for members and their guests.

P.I.Y.C. Backwater Cruise on The Pelican
The Pelican Leaves at 4:45 pm and tours the South or North backwaters returning at 5:45 pm, Wednesday-Saturday. The tour includes a fruit and cheese tray selected by the culinary staff. Drinks designated by the members going on the tour will be provided and charged at PIYC prices. The Pelican can accommodate up to 16 passengers.

Private Backwater Cruise on the Pelican

The Pelican can be reserved for a private Backwater Cruise as well. Tour includes a fruit and cheese tray selected by the culinary staff. An appetizer menu with pricing is also available for those who want an extra special treat.
